Man in his 30s has died following single vehicle collision outside Listowel

A man in his 30s has died following a fatal single vehicle collision just outside Listowel.

The collision occurred on the N69 at Skehenerin just outside Listowel on the Tarbert side at around 2:20pm this afternoon.

A male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, which remains closed for forensic examination.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly any road users with camera footage, to contact them at Listowel Garda Station on 068 50820 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

The N69 will remain closed between the junction at Skehenerin and the next junction, which is the turn off to Moyvane, until around 9pm tonight.
