A man has been arrested in relation to a burglary in Tralee.
The incident took place on July 21st.
Gardaí arrested and charged the man yesterday; he is due in court next month.
At around 12.30am on July 21st, a man entered a house in the Ballyard area.
No items were taken from the house, as the man fled the scene after the family dog began barking.
An investigation was carried out by Tralee Gardaí; they reviewed CCTV from the area and a suspect was nominated following house to house enquiries.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested yesterday and was brought to Tralee Garda Station; he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged.
He is due to appear before Tralee District Court on August 20th at 10.30am.
