Less than half of Kerry adults are planning on getting the flu vaccine this year.

That's according to research carried out by LloydsPharmacy.

It also shows that over three quarters (69%) of Kerry adults claim the COVID-19 pandemic has made them more aware of the importance of being vaccinated against viruses, such as the flu.

93% of those who made that claim, were aged between 18 and 24.

LloydsPharmacy is encouraging people to avail of the vaccine.
