Labour will run candidate in Kerry at next general election

A Labour frontbench spokesperson says the party will run a candidate in Kerry at the next general election.

That's according to Deputy Duncan Smith, who's the party whip and Labour spokesperson on health, disability, transport and communications.

In 2020, there was no Labour candidate to contest the general election in Kerry - the first time in 87 years.

Deputy Smith says that won't happen again.
