A Killorglin supermarket is to support an initiative aimed at addressing the unprecedented demand on charities and communities affected by COVID-19.
Brian Jones’ EUROSPAR Killorglin is taking part in Food for Ireland from this Thursday to Sunday (September 17th to 20th).
They’re asking shoppers to donate non-perishable food, which will then be distributed by FoodCloud to charities across Kerry and Ireland.
FoodCloud works with businesses and retailers to reallocate surplus food to those who need it most; they’re reporting a 70% increase in demand for food since March.
