Killorglin chef awarded for pastry creation

A Killorglin chef has won an award for her pastry creation.

Alline Isense Dalpiaz was chosen in the recent nationwide search by Fyffes to find a new dessert that has a banana as its key ingredient.

A pastry chef in the Muckross Park Hotel, Brazilian-born Alline moved to Kerry three years ago, having first arrived in the county as an English student in 2013.

Celebrity cook Donal Skehan announced her creation as the winner in the Best Styling category.
