A Killarney secondary school student has been elected international officer of a national students' union.
Kacper Bogalecki, a 5th year student at St Brendan's College, was elected International Officer of the Irish Second-Level Students' Union (ISSU) this month.
The Irish Second-Level Students' Union is the national representative body for second-level student councils.
Kacper is currently serving his term as Kerry Regional Officer in the Union, and will take up his new role in July.
He says he wants to propel the ISSU on an international front, and work with international students in Ireland to make sure they're heard on important matters.
