Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce says it fully endorses the call for support for businesses affected by the ongoing public health restrictions.
A demonstration took place in Killarney this morning calling for support of all those businesses affected by the continuing public health restrictions on trade, and in particular those who are not able to offer outdoor socialising.
In a statement this afternoon, Killarney Chamber stated it fully endorses the call for support for businesses which it says have been "left behind" by the public health measures.
The Chamber adds the decision to defer indoor dining is having a devastating impact on businesses, as well as staff and families of those involved in the hospitality sector.
It's urging the government to provide clarity on plans to continue financial supports for business owners and staff into 2022.
