The Cathaoirleach of Killarney Municipal District has likened a road in the area to a Syrian city.
Labour Cllr Marie Moloney told the MD meeting the hard shoulder along the Tralee Road adjacent to New Cemetery Cross at Knockeenduff is like “something out of Aleppo”.
Cllr Moloney said the road is very dangerous for cyclists.

Kerry County Council said it is actively seeking funding to fix the road and hopes to complete works before the end of the summer.
