A Kerry woman has claimed top honours in a national photography competition focused on biodiversity and equine farming.
Roseann O'Neill from Kenmare was named overall winner from over 150 images submitted to the Teagasc Equine Farming and Biodiversity photo contest.
Her photo captured a Kerry bog pony mare taken through the window of an old cow house.

The judges praised the simplicity of her image while capturing the beautiful Kerry landscape and its native pony.
Roseann will receive vouchers worth €250.
