Businesses in the Castleisland and Corca Dhuibhne municipal districts are looking forward to the summer, as the economy emerges from lockdown.
Michael John Kearney of Castleisland Chamber Alliance says the town has been affected by the restrictions.
In particular, the town’s fashion industry was hard hit due to being deemed non-essential retail.
However, Mr Kearney says there are positives, including the creation of 14 new businesses, which have either opened already or will do so later this year.
Fallon Ní Ghrifín of Dingle Peninsula Tourism Alliance says businesses are looking forward to welcoming customers back, following the lockdown.
She’s asking people to respect businesses by securing places in advance and not double or triple booking.
Ms Ní Ghrifín is urging people not to book a meal and then not show up.
