The Kerry Tourism Industry Federation is supporting the call for an extra Bank Holiday in 2021.
Kerry Fine Gael TD Brendan Griffin this week called an extra Bank Holiday at the end of September to help the hospitality sector.
The KTIF says this would give the industry a well-needed boost following another detrimental year, and would be beneficial for the county as a whole.

The Federation adds there is only one Bank Holiday between Summer and Christmas, and this would extend the domestic season into September.
