Kerry teenagers claimed four awards in the national final of the Student Enterprise Awards.
The competition had over 16,000 entrants across six different categories.
A special merit award was presented to 1st year students at Presentation Castleisland, Jan-Eve Browne, Clodagh O'Sullivan, Rachel Deniel and Mairéad Walsh for their product Safety Studs in the junior category.
The waterproof sports footwear product that protects any studded or spiked boot or show from damage was made from re-used wellingtons found on the girls' family farms.
Mairéad also appeared on the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy to discuss the product; Presentation Castleisland has claimed seven national titles in the competition in the past four years.
Timpeall An Tí, a board game for learning Irish developed by Eilis Enright, Ella Killington, Keeva Ahern & Ciara Shanahan from Castleisland Community College got third place in the Intermediate Category and also got an I.P Award.
A bilingual card game for primary schools called Cártaí Feasa from Pobal Scoil Corca Dhuibhne students Sibéal Ní Órgáin, Aoife Feirtéar and Caoimhe Ní Bheaglaoich was presented with a merit award.
Tomás Hayes, Head of Kerry Local Enterprise Office, commended the work of the students, teachers and mentors.
