A Kerry TD has welcomed progress on the long-running campaign for occupational pensions for community employment supervisors.
Community employment supervisors, who operate services such as meals and wheels, have sought an occupational pension arrangement from the state since a recommendation from the Labour Court in 2008.
Fine Gael TD Brendan Griffin says he's received confirmation from Minister for Social Protection, Rural & Community Development, Heather Humphreys, that a review of the pension claim has been completed.

A proposed resolution will be presented to their unions by the Department of Social Protection.
Deputy Griffin says CE supervisors do invaluable work in the community.
