Some Kerry students are continuing to lose out on bus places due to changes brought about by COVID-19 restrictions.
In recent weeks, parents of school-going children in the county have been in contact with Bus Eireann in an effort to secure places on buses for the school year.
The process has been made more difficult due to capacity restrictions on transport for second-level routes.
Tommy Griffin, current Parliamentary Assistant to Kerry Fine Gael TD Brendan Griffin, says a number of students in Keel who attend school in Killorglin have also been affected by the extension of the route to Annascaul.
He says five concessionary ticket holders, who had places in previous years, have been left without transport.
