Kerry Fianna Fáil Senator Ned O’Sullivan says Sinn Féin has questions to answer over the latest polling scandal.
Yesterday it emerged that Sinn Féin members pretended to be pollsters to canvass the opinion of voters.
Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party have since admitted that their party members also posed as market researchers to secretly survey voters in the past.
Senator O’Sullivan said he condemns any party carrying out such activity, but said the methods employed by Sinn Féin went further than other parties.
Kerry Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly said it should not have happened but said other political parties were doing the same thing.
Deputy Daly said Sinn Féin will co-operate fully with the Data Protection Commissioner.
