Castleisland Community College has been selected as a finalist in the Construction Industry Federation’s Design a Home for Everyone competition.
The Kerry school will join schools from Galway and Dublin in the final, which takes place on April 30th.
These three finalists overcame 55 other schools nationwide in the CIF’s national competition, which is aimed at attracting young people into the construction industry.
Transition Year students design a home that helps ‘solve’ climate change, the housing crisis, and addresses inclusivity as part of the competition.
