Kerry people are encouraged to nominate a heritage hero as part of the search for Ireland's Heritage Hero 2020.
The Heritage Council, which works to promote understanding of our national heritage, is seeking nominations for groups or individual who have worked to popularise and preserve heritage.
What makes a Heritage Hero is their investment in natural, built or intangible heritage like skills in language and sport.
The Heritage Hero Award is part of the National Heritage Awards, run annually to celebrate the outstanding projects and events from National Heritage Week.
Nominations close at 12 noon on 18th September.
