Kerry native selected as first replacement for European elections candidate

A Kerry native has been selected as a first replacement for a Social Democrats candidate for the European elections.

All candidates running for European Parliament must submit a list of people who will replace them in case they cannot perform their duties.

Pádraig Rice, originally from Camp, has been chosen as the first replacement for the Social Democrats candidate, Susan Doyle.
