Kerry Mountain Rescue Team's opened its new base last night.
The rescue team marked the occasion yesterday at Killarney Garda Station.
Retired member of Kerry Mountain Rescue Team, Christy McCarthy officially opened the base and says the facility provides much needed space for training, vehicle and equipment storage.
