The Kerry Mountain Rescue Team responded to two separate callouts on Carrauntoohill yesterday evening.
At around 4 o'clock, a female hillwalker suffered a lower leg injury near the base of the zig-zags on Cnoc na Toinne, before she was evacuated to Lisleibane by Land Rover.
Later on, a male walker in his 60s had taken ill at the summit.
Kerry Mountain Rescue Team members climbed to the summit to treat him at the scene, before he was taken to an awaiting ambulance at Kissane's Cross.
A total of 16 members were involved in the rescue operation, which concluded at half past midnight last night.
