Kerry Mountain Rescue apply for extension to Killarney base

Kerry Mountain Rescue is hoping to expand its base in Killarney.

The group has applied for planning permission for a two-storey extension to their existing premises on New Road.

The development includes storage on the ground floor and a meeting room, canteen and office on the first floor.

Planners will decide on the application in the coming weeks.
