Nearly 200 people took part in the Human Chain Challenge in support of Kerry Mental Health Association on Sunday.
The event was sponsored by Kate Kearney’s Cottage; where participants set-off for the walk up the mountain.
The participants walked about 500 metres up the mountain before stopping to join hands to form the Human Chain.
Sean Coffey, the owner of Kate Kearney's cottage also presented Kerry Mental Health Association with a cheque for €1000.
It was organised with a view to bringing communities together to show support for those who may be struggling with mental health difficulties.
The Human Chain Challenge was one of more than 100 events taking place during the Kerry Mental Health and Wellbeing Fest, from the 5th to 12th of October.
