School and childcare representatives in Kerry say it's imperative testing times for suspected COVID-19 cases are expedited for staff.
INTO representative for Kerry and West Limerick, Ann Horan and manager of Camp Community Childcare Carol McCormack made the call.
They say rapid testing is hugely important to ensure teachers and staff can quickly get back into work, and to ensure schools and facilities can remain open.
Having staff members absent for long periods while they await results will impact on the whole community, they say.
