Health care support assistants in Kerry will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of March.
SIPTU industrial organiser for health care support assistants, Ted Kenny met with the HSE yesterday to discuss the vaccine roll-out.
Mr Kenny has been told that all health care workers should have their first and second vaccination between February 8th and March 31st.
This includes home helps employed by the HSE and those employed by the private sector.
Ted Kenny says health care support assistants had expressed concerns about when they would be vaccinated, given the level of contact they have with clients.
