Kerry has the second lowest death rate in Ireland from COVID-19 since the Pandemic began.
That’s according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
Kerry has recorded 4,518 cases of COVID-19 and 54 deaths from the virus since March of last year.

That’s 36.6 deaths per 100,000 people.
Mayo and the border counties of Louth, Cavan and Monaghan have recorded the highest number of deaths from COVID-19 per head of the population.
