Kerry gardaí say they’re available to discuss road safety with anyone, particularly those who are planning car modifications.
This follows an operation in Killarney on May 1st, where gardaí targeted those who congregate and drive dangerously on the roads.
As part of the operation, inspections of six cars at Castleisland Garda Station took place over the weekend.
Following this, one driver received a fixed charge notice as their car had severely worn front tyres, while excessive noise from exhausts, tinted windows that severely limited the driver’s vision, and modified suspensions were rectified.
