The expansion of the Kerry Food Hub will provide further opportunities for local producers.
That’s the view of chairperson and founder of the hub, David Gleeson.
Ten additional units are being built on the site, and the sod was turned this afternoon.
This expansion will deliver 100 direct and 62 further indirect jobs.
Mr Gleeson explains why they felt now was the right time to expand:
