Artisan food businesses in Kerry are being encouraged to apply for funding under a new €5m LEADER scheme.
The LEADER support scheme aims to help artisan, micro and small food businesses to respond to challenges posed by COVID-19 and Brexit, and up to €200,000 is available per project.
Education Minister and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley says the funding will help support Kerry's farmers and food enterprises.
Minister Foley added it will provide a vital boost to these businesses who are impacted directly by Brexit and COVID-19.
Applications can be made through the Kerry Local Community Development Committee, or via this link.
