Kerry farmers drew down €11.5 million in Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS) grants since 2016.
TAMS is co-funded by the EU and the Irish Government under the Rural Development Programme and gives farmers grants to improve or build a specific range of farm buildings or to buy equipment.
Last year, Kerry farmers availed of €3.7 million in grants; the amount of funding has increased every year since 2016.
Figures show that over €37 million was drawn down in Cork and €21 million in Tipperary in the five-year period.
