Kerry families could be due refunds from Bus Eireann for unused school transport

Families in Kerry could be due refunds from Bus Eireann for unused school transport during the pandemic.

It says families which paid a fee for school transport in 2020/21 could be in line for a partial refund, following the closure of schools to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The amount of refund due is based on the number of standard school days missed and the original fee paid.

A refund rate of 31% will apply to family account holders, covering the period January-March 2021, with refunds capped.
