A Tralee-based education technology company has hit a milestone and made two major strategic moves for growth.
Athena Analytics, which was founded by Emily Brick in 2017, works with secondary schools to transform large amounts of data, particularly exam results, into meaningful insights.
It started with 40 schools, but is now working with over 300, which is nearly half of the secondary schools in Ireland.
The company is hoping there’ll be more rapid growth following the appointment of Caroline McEnery of the HR Suite as a non-executive director, and the creation of an advisory board.
The board consists of well-known names in education including Emeritus Professor of Education and former Vice-President of University College Cork, Professor Áine Hyland.
