A Kerry county councillor is calling for the council to look at providing a 'hop on, hop off' bus service along the Ring of Kerry.
Fianna Fáil councillor Michael Cahill says the council should investigate the feasibility of providing the service, which could use electric vehicles to benefit the local environment.
Cllr Cahill says this would be very attractive to people, as the present bus service is a bit of a dash and go.
The Fianna Fáil councillor added planning this operation would be a logistical challenge but public demand would see it become a successful and lucrative business.
He's calling on the council to arrange a consultation with the National Transport Authority to discuss the potential service, as a matter of priority.
