Kerry County Council says it will be as flexible as possible when dealing with pubs and restaurants that want an outdoor space.
That’s according to Castleisland and Corca Dhuibne MD manager and director of services with the council, John Breen.
He says they’ve met with many such businesses and is encouraging anyone interested in having an outdoor space to put their application into the council.
He says there are many factors to take into account, but says they will do as much as they can while ensuring safety for everyone:

He says Kerry County Council has come to an agreement with a landowner to provide space for an overflow car park at Castlegregory beach again this year.
Mr Breen is encouraging people to work with the council for the summer season, if they have space near such amenities.
