Kerry councillor appeals to motorists not to drive under fallen trees

A Kerry councillor is appealing to people to think safety first and not to drive under fallen trees.

Cllr Fionnán Fitzgerald, who's with Ballymacelligott Community Alert, says some motorists were taking risks yesterday and driving, where possible, under fallen trees.

He says trees and branches may still be loose today and says it’s not worth the risk.
