Kerry Civil Defence has filled over 1,000 sandbags in preparation for Storm Barra.
Its crews have been readying themselves for the clean-up operation when the storm passes.
Civil Defence Officer for Kerry, Tom Brosnan says this preparatory work including filling sandbags, some of which they've already deployed.
