Kerry back to work programme Moving On successfully helping women get paid employment

42% of women who took part in the Kerry back to work support programme, Moving On, found work within 6 months of completing the course.

Moving On helps women who have been out of the workforce for some time get back to paid employment.

The project is managed by North and East Kerry Development and co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund.

152 women in Kerry have taken part in the programme over the past three years.

Project co-ordinator Lisa Fingleton said the course has been very successful.
