The CEO of Kerry Airport says the sale of Stobart Air will ensure the continued operation of the Kerry-Dublin PSO flight.
This morning it was announced that Stobart Air has been sold to Isle of Man-based, Ettyl.
Stobart Air currently operates the Aer Lingus regional franchise will continue to until the end of next year.
CEO of Kerry Airport, John Mulhern said the Farranfore base enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Stobart but its sale was a concern in terms of the continuation of the PSO route to Dublin.
Mr Mulhern said the announcement today ensures the route will continue to operate and he has already been in contact with the CEO and Head of Operations at Ettyl.
