A total of eight new vets were registered in Kerry last year.
That’s according to The Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI) which is responsible for the regulation and management of the practice of veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing in the state.
CEO and registrar, Niamh Muldoon, said the addition of registered vets and vet nurses in 2022 is meeting the demand for veterinary services, and shows strong sector strength.
