Kerry experienced the fourth highest level of callouts for ants so far this year.
That’s according to pest control provider, Rentokil, who said Kerry accounted for 10% of all ant callouts nationwide in 2021.
Rentokil is also warning people that flying ants can become a problem in late July and early August.

The pest control experts said while flying ants are not dangerous, they are a nuisance and they advise the public to keep all surfaces clean, food stored in airtight containers and windows and doors closed.
Rentokil says ants can lay down a pheromone trail which attracts other ants to the area and a small problem can quickly become a large one.
