Kerry County Council has issued notice that it plans to build an underpass on the Tralee to Fenit Greenway at Ballymakegoge, Tralee.
The council says a pedestrian/cycling underpass is required to cross under the local road at Ballygarran, known locally as Cotters Bend.
The proposal will provide a coherent route for the Greenway and users will be separated from road traffic.

The works will consist of the installation of a 20-metre-long precast concrete underpass and a 3-metre wide paved surface.
Public submissions and observations can be submitted to the Council up until Friday the 18th of June.
