Kerry County Council approved 93% of all planning permission applications it received during 2021.
During the year up to Christmas, the local authority had received nearly 1,500 planning applications.
In 2020, just under 1,300 applications were received.

Of the 1,221 valid applications up the end of November of 2021, the council approved 1,134 and refused 87.
