Three people were rescued from the sea off the west Kerry coast last night, after getting into difficulties on jet skis.
Valentia Coast Guard received a call at 20 to 9 last night, saying three jet skiers were missing off the Maharees.
The Shannon Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene, along with Fenit Lifeboat and Dingle Coast Guard Unit.
The three were located in an area known as O'Leary's Island at about ten past 9, and were brought to safety at the pier at the Maharees by the inshore lifeboat.
An ambulance attended the scene and it's understood the three may have been suffering from hypothermia but did not need to be brought to hospital.
