Investigations are underway after a fire broke out and caused extensive damage to a property in Waterville.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí say extensive damage was cause to the property but it wasn’t occupied when the fire broke out.

They say investigations are ongoing.
