Gardaí in Tralee are investigating after a man's body was found in Castlemaine.
Gardaí were called to a residence in the Castlemaine area this morning, where the body of a man in his 80s was discovered.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Kerry.

The scene is preserved for technical examination; both the state pathologist and coroner have been notified.
Gardaí say the results of the post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
They say no further information is available at this time.
