The President of the Irish Farmers Association says the organisation is willing to facilitate information meetings on any potential Kerry Co-op joint venture deal.
It's being reported that negotiations are nearing a conclusion on a deal that would see Kerry Co-op initially buy 60% of Kerry Group plc's dairy business.
It's understood the deal may include the new joint venture company buying the entire dairy business outright within five years.
