The Irish Farmers’ Association is holding a rally later this week to highlight the value of farming to the rural economy.
Farmers will gather in county towns across the country to protest, as they’ve issues with the current Common Agricultural Policy and Climate Action Bill.
The IFA says the farming and food sector employs 300,000 people across the country and contributed €13 billion in exports in 2020.

The nationwide rally will take place on Friday.
