The HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare are hosting a heart health event for women over 40.
It's taking place at the River Island Hotel in Castleisland on Thursday, the 14th of November from 7 to 8.30pm.
The event is to empower women to advocate for their own health by connecting with supports and services within the community.

Speakers on the night include a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician and other health professionals.
General Manager of Primary Care with Cork Kerry Community Healthcare, Michael Moriarty, said "These community events are always informative and great fun; we love seeing so many women not only catching up with one another socially - but also accessing loads of really useful information."
