Homecoming event to celebrate South Kerry’s Special Olympian

South Kerry teenager Ryan Griffin will receive a hero’s welcome this evening at a special homecoming event.

The 16-year-old from Tarmons, Waterville won silver for Ireland in the Special Olympics in the mini-javelin competition in Berlin.

He is a member of Skellig Stars and the club has organised a homecoming for Ryan this evening at 7.30pm at Fair Field in Cahersiveen.
