Helpline for South Kerry CAMHS lookback reviewed this evening

A helpline for those affected by a review of CAMHS in South Kerry will be revisited this evening.

Last week, it emerged that the HSE is reviewing the files of over 1,500 children and young people who attended the South Kerry Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

This was amid concerns some were prescribed dangerously excessive amounts of medication.

Cork Kerry Community Healthcare says a helpline, which was created last week to assist those affected, will be open today until 8pm.

The opening hours will be reviewed following this period.
